- Abstract
In multi-stage forming processes, diverse impacts interact to affect the quality of generated workpieces. Therefore, relaun-ches after production interruptions pose considerable challen-ges. Operators use implicit knowledge for experience-based readjustments without knowing or being able to eliminate the cause in every case. So far, this process defies simulation. The new approach described in this paper provides a remedy.
