IFUM | In production technology, there is a clear trend toward comprehensive, in-process monitoring of manufacturing processes and machines, up to and including entire production lines or even production facilities. Although there is great potential for optimization in this area, the implementation of such concepts represents a financial burden, especially for small and even some medium-sized companies. At IFUM, a cost-effective retrofit solution has been developed to make this potential available to a wide range of users. This enables component-related process data acquisition, on the basis of which component traceability, long-term archiving of process data in a database and the possibility of process optimization can take place.
