The spindle press from the company Lasco is designed for the forming of middle to large-sized solid components. Its area of application lies predominantly in industrial forming research. The integrated warm-forging cell with an induction unit, chamber furnace and robot arm allows for a fully automated operation with a high reproducibility. Force-displacement curves can be recorded for the quantitative assessment of forming processes
