The processing of modern, particularly solid steel sheets is connected to a higher noise generation. A deep understanding of the origin and the propagation of noise emissions is essential to quiet machine design. The acoustic camera from CAE Software & Systems enables a metrological analysis of noise development. The system is primarily used for the precise localisation of noise sources. Furthermore, extensive online and offline analysis options are available with evaluation software.
